You can’t have too much Wladziu Valentino Liberace we say. Or Lee as his friends used to call him. The sparkling entertainer who shuffled off this mortal coil in 1987 was famous for his glittering wardrobe and beloved for his work as a pianist. He was beloved by many and considered somewhat of a joke by others. The sparkliness of his stage presentation and his classical repertoire are echoed in the work of Andre Rieu (oh yeah, we went there).
This clip is actually two acts. It begins with a five-minute medley on the old 88 and then morphs into a so-so song and ‘dance’ routine. Check out the famous celebrities that Lee and Milton Berle namecheck in the song.
